Log in to the Cortex Portal.

From the left-hand menu, click Policy Management.

Select Policy Rule.

Right-click on the policy you want to assign and select Edit.

In the policy editor:

Make sure the Exception field is configured properly.

Click Next to proceed.

In the Target selection step:

Use filters (such as IP address or Alias) to find the desired Endpoint(s) or Endpoint Group(s).

Checkmark the endpoints/groups you want the rule to apply to.

Click Next, then Done.

Finally, click Save to apply the policy.
