Generate Reports
Network Detective Pro allows you to use your scan data to quickly generate a wide array of IT assessment documentation for a variety of business purposes. Once you collect scan data, it's time to generate reports. As you perform additional types of IT scans, new report options become available. Here's how it works:
- From your Site, navigate to Network Detective Pro > Assessments.
- From the assessment dashboard, click Generate Reports.
- From the Generate Reports list, you can view reports that are ready to generate using the scan data you collected. If you did not collect the required scan data for a report, that report will be unavailable. From the Generate Reports screen you also:
- Select a report Category: use the Category drop-down menu to select a category of report options.
- Select Report Sets: choose from among several sets of reports. Each report set contains a pre-defined number of reports that pertain to a specific assessment purpose. You can also define your own Report Sets. See User Report Sets.
- Show Unavailable Reports: toggle this option to see reports that you cannot generate. Collect the required scan data to generate additional reports.
- Toggle each report that you wish to generate. You can also click the top toggle to select all available reports.
- When you have selected reports, click Generate.
- Enter a Report Name for your set. Click Confirm.
- Your reports will begin to generate.
- Next, navigate to Reports from the left menu.
- Here you can see your report set as it is generating. This may take a few minutes.
- When the report set finishes, click the Download icon to access your reports.
